I used one touch ultra 2 glucometer in testing my blood sugar level. It reads 7.6, is it normal?
Hi,
Here in the Uk we are told that the blood sugar level should be between 4-7. When mine went up to high I got a rocket from the Diabetes Nurse at the clinic.
7.6 is not dangerous, but try to get it under the 7 mark. The lower you can get the better, but not below 4.
In my case the reading was 7.3 and I was told to get it down and to lose some weight.
I lowered both by going on a juice detox for a week.I lost 7lbs. and my blood Sugar went down to 6.3 in only 7 days.
Take care with your health, ensure the diabetes does not get worse.
