Need help fast for my foot pain?
ok, I was a stay at home mom for 20 years and just now went to work. I am standing on my feet for 7 hours a day. I have tried 3 pairs of shoes and they did not work, the pain was unbearable. So I got a pair of SAS shoes and had them fit me for them so the size was good. The shoes have these arch supporters in them and so now after my first day of wearing them my arches are hurting badly….Is there any hope for me that my feet will eventually get used to standing? Will I get used to the arch supports in my shoes or should I take them out? I take aleve before work and halfway through to help a bit with the pain, is there anything else I could do? When I walk it is better but most of the day I am just standing in one spot cooking…..HELP!!!!!
Have you ever been checked for diabetes? Several people with Diabetic neurapathy complain of pain like this…
Definitely see a doctor about it. My neighbor is a podiatrist, and often recommends orthodic inserts, and slipping your shoes on and off several times during the day while you’re standing up to promote better circulation.
That’s just a tip – still see a doctor!
