arthroscopic knee surgery on both knees?
I have to get arthroscopic knee surgery performed on my knees. I know that, in general, which is surgery, but being both knees and I will not be able to use crutches or a walker, it will not be able to put weight on one leg I have to be hospitalized overnight or longer? (Anyone who has experience in this area?) And also about how long it took for surgery both knees? And how long has been the subject of bed rest and work? Your help is appreciated! Thanks!
Both knees at the same time is rare but not impossible. Even with bilateral arthroscopic procedure be ambulatory. After almost all arthroscopic procedures the patient is WBAT (weight-load tolerance), which means you can do damage to put weight on the legs, but it will do no harm. I have been involved in cases like this on several occasions. You might consider renting a wheelchair to travel outside their home. The procedure itself varies depending on what you do, but ranges from 15-45 minutes in the knee.
