What is the best material to minimize the chafing with my knee brace?
I have a large metal lateral defiance knee brace. I want to run with it but the chafing on the back of my knee is awful. What is the best material to use to cover the knee and eliminate the chafing? I’d appreciate some advice!
Thanks!
You could always try some wax paper. Also cotton padding they sell at orthopedic stores.

Power Coil $39.95 Power Coil Golf Trainer The Power Coil is designed to stabilize a player’s base to allow them to develop a powerful coiling action, thus increasing their ‘X’ factor and potential for increased distance. Who can use it? The Power Coil is easy to use for any player right- or left-handed. Anyone who has a problem swaying back away from the target or tends to lock their trailing leg at the top of the swing can greatly benefit from strapping the Power Coil on & taking a few relaxed swings. Coil into action!: Many women, as well as players that have less flexibility, sway past their trailing foot in an effort to increase distance. The problems this can cause are numerous. The leg strap portion of the Power Coil keeps the player’s center of gravity inside the right foot, keeping them planted for a good downswing transition. The strap is fully adjustable and can be used with all clubs. The knee brace portion of the Power Coil keeps the right (or trailing) knee flexed to create resistance in the swing and to prevent the dreaded ‘reverse pivot’. Keeping the knee flexed will encourage the player to turn on the backswing and get the weight through the ball on the downswing. "Excessive lateral sway, along with a vertical move during the swing, is the primary cause of miss-hit shots." Jim McLean, Golf Digest Book of Drills |
